Management of cards

Use the app to keep track of all your cards.

  • Santander Credit Card payments are available through the app.
  • If you temporarily lose your Mastercard, you can freeze and unfreeze it to prevent use.
  • You can also block specific transaction types without freezing your Mastercard. For example, you can block online transactions, gambling, or international transactions. 
  • If your card is lost, stolen, or damaged, please report it immediately.
  • For your card PIN, click on 'More', then 'Cards' and 'View PIN' after logging in.
  • See your pending credit card and current account transactions. This is the list of transactions you have made but have not yet completed.
  • Change the contactless limit for your Mastercard via chat.

In the beginning

You will need to provide a One Time Passcode, so make sure that your mobile number is up to date in Online Banking.

  • You can start using Online Banking right away.
  • Open the app and log in.
  • One-Time Passcodes (OTPs) will be sent to you via text message.
  • After entering the code, your device will be registered.
  • When you log on, you will be asked whether to use Touch ID or Face ID.
  • Once you log on, you are in. By enabling 'push notifications', you will receive notifications from us directly on your home screen.

Keep in mind...

One Time Passcodes (OTPs) should never be shared. This includes Santander employees.

You should never download software or give anyone remote access to your computer or device after a cold call.

If you click on a link in an email or text message, you should never enter your Online Banking details.

The Santander Mobile Banking application may ask you to allow it access to certain details or access features of your smartphone when you install it. Some features of the app must be enabled to run properly (most Android apps do this). Android owns the names of Santander, so it only uses permissions to improve your experience when using the app. A list of the app's permissions can be found in your phone's Applications Manager, or by visiting Google Play and clicking on "Installed".
